Yes I know I botched the saying, but it’s true for me. This morning I had a familiar breakfast and it made me really happy. Some things done over and over again drive me to want a klonapintini (“Everybody Do The Dinosaur,” anyone?) My breakfasts and lunches however, aren’t one of them. I like them almost automated.
- 2/3 cup old fashioned oats
- 2/3 cup vanilla almond milk
- 2 t cocoa powder
- 1T almond butter
- 1T peanut butter
- drizzle of honey
Combine all ingredients in a jar or tupperware and refrigerate overnight. Top with bananas, strawberries, cherries, cacao nibs, whatevs.
I do best when my workouts are pre-planned and automated as well. Today is Tuesday, so it’s BODYPUMP!! I can feel the burn already. Or maybe it’s just the fire under my ass burning to get moving. Could go either way.
When I was in Ohio, due to the open wound on the bottom of my foot, I didn’t get a lot of exercise in. I could hear myself saying “annnnnnnnd, this is why you were fat,” as I took a bite of waffle sundae.
I’m going to go run, chew on a peach, and guzzle water all at once. I need it.
